CRAFTS4U Standard Metal Adaptor Plate is 150 x 210mm (5.9 x 8.25in) and fits through most standard table top die cut machines including Sizzix Bigshot(tm) / Provocraft Cuttlebug(tm) and bigger machines. The Metal Adaptor Plate is useful for 2 main reasons:-

1. To get a better cut on the more detailed dies
2. To protect your plates so that they do not get cut / warp or create impressions on your card while cutting.

In all machines for the thin metal dies we recommend cutting against the metal adaptor plate. This will mean your metal plate will get marked but not your plastic plates.
