Uniquely Creative 'look-through'
Posted by Cayla-Fay Euinton on
Hi guys!
Oh my goodness, so I was just sitting at my desk, working away the other day when Mike called me. I'll be honest, I huffed a bit, got up and walked to him.
I regretted 'the huff' almost immediately.
In front of him was two big boxes from Australia. Do you know what comes from Australia?
Uniquely Creative.
He graciously let me have a sift through the boxes before it was to be counted, inventoried and put into the shop. And my goodness did I love what I saw.
So I stole off with a few of my favourites, went to my recording corner and filmed a little 'look-through' video for you. Please keep in mind that this by no means is all Uniquely Creative have to offer - I didn't even get to the stencils! - but just a few bits and pieces that captured my heart. There's more available to look at and drool over on the website.
The 12x12 papers are a nice, thick 210gsm card, the die cuts are vibrant - actually, all the colours of everything are vibrant - and the stamps are made from a special photopolymer plastic that lasts longer and (in my opinion) stamps better.
Naturally, I had to whip out my stamping stuff and got creative.
Do forgive my less-than-awesome watercolouring, it's been a while, but how cute are these mushrooms! The stamp set (the Mushroom Pals set) even comes with teeny tiny faces to add to your mushy friends.
I was also very excited to see plenty of journalling cards and quote cards in the 12"x12" paper range. I personally am more of a journaller than a scrapbooker (though the two cross over an awful lot) so I'm always looking for journalling cards.
Ok the only other thing I'll make a big deal about is the rhinestones and pearls. They are absolutely stunning. A number of the rhinestones (and even the pearls) have an iridescent shimmer to them, meaning you get more colours than you pay for really. These are so stunning to just look at, I'll be stocking up and blinging everything in my house at this rate.
There's also a true gold and a true silver in the pearls - personally, I've found these hard to come by and I'm excited to see what I can do with them.
Anyway, that's enough from me for now. What are you most excited about in the range?
I'm off to be creative!
